Tracy McMahon -- “Karen”

Tracy McMahon hails from a small farming community in Saskatchewan. She has experienced the worlds of teaching and stunts and earned a theatre degree, which expanded to film acting after being hand-picked from a crowd scene and given a line to deliver in a film. With many credits in independent projects of all lengths, Tracy can also be seen on mainstream screens working on You Kill Me opposite Ben Kingsley; with Joseph Gordon-Levitt in The Lookout; with Lacey Chabert in What If God Were the Sun?; with Paul Walker on The Lazarus Project; with Timothy Olyphant in High Life; and opposite Renée Zellweger in New In Town. Edwin Perez -- “Alex”

Edwin Perez is a graduate of Simon Fraser University with a degree in literature and publishing. He has performed on stage in university productions such as The Death of Herod, Merchant of Venice, and Gluttony. More recently, Edwin has pursued his passion for film and television acting and has had principal/lead roles in Fifth Sun, Cahoots, The Seven, and Unnatural and has landed a LEAD in the upcoming American Pie 3: Book of Love. Fluent in Spanish, Edwin’s Latin roots extend beyond his family tree; he has been a member of the Bravo Dance Company’s performance team for three years, specializing in LA-style Salsa. He has been trained at the Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts and under Laura Di Cicco at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts.

Chelsea Emery

“Sarah”

Chelsea was born in Vancouver into a small family. She discovered her immense passion for the performing arts when she was only ten years old at a local high school's performance of South Pacific. In high school, she dedicated herself to the arts, performing in such musicals as Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat as well as Shakespeare's Midsummer Night's Dream. In 2002 Chelsea was accepted into New York City’s American Musical & Dramatic Academy,  but due to finances was sadly unable to attend. She strives to make herself a well-rounded performer both on the stage and in film, and continues to seek training in both. Chelsea is 24 and currently lives in Delta, BC.

Marc Gaudet

“Sebastian”

Though born in Ontario, Marc Gaudet was raised in Quebec. He first performed in Our Town as the first butler to have played the role with an Afro. As they say, there was just something about him. From that moment on, Marc knew that the acting bug had bitten him hard, and thus began his bohemian life. He moved to Vancouver, BC, in 1994 to live the dream and has been in numerous theater, commercial, and film productions. He is a working actor, represented by Vancouver Talent Management, who continues to hone his craft at the Actor’s Foundry. Most recently, Marc played a demon on “Supernatural,” and the dirty referee in Slap Shot 3: The Junior League. In Open Diaries, Marc plays the talented if not preoccupied pianist and composer Sebastian, a love interest of Karen’s. Unlike his character, Marc has a trail of women clambering to wed him.
